The two men in my life

In my entire life I have only celebrated Valentine’s Day twice and this year made it the second time. My boyfriend and I did it New York style, which means brunch. I was so impressed when Eddie showed up in a nice suit and carrying a gift in hand. I really appreciated all the thought he put into making this day special for me. I am not used to anyone caring for me in that way. He gave me a gift that was great and so useful to me; it was a pocket camcorder, because he knows how much I want to document my camp experience this summer. In the meantime I’ll take lot of movies of Tushy.

Valentine’s Day used to only mean one thing to me and that was candy on sale the next day. Now today, Valentine’s Day, is no longer about candy, it is about love and learning to accept love in an intimate way and feeling that you are deserving of it.
